Day-by-day program

  1. 01

    Day 1 — Arrival in Tashkent

    • Arrival in Tashkent. Airport meet and greet and transfer to hotel. Check-in and time to rest.
    • Breakfast at the hotel.
    • Tour of the new part of the city:
    • Sacred Heart Catholic Church
    • Monument to Polish soldiers
    • Independence Square
    • Amir Timur statue
    • Courage Monument
    • World War II memorial
    • Alisher Navoi Theater Square
    • Tashkent TV Tower (exterior)
    • Tour of the old part of Tashkent:
    • Khazrati Imam complex (Barak-Khan madrasah, Kaffal Shashi mausoleum,
    • Muyi-Mubarak Mosque)
    • Juma Mosque of Khoja Akhrar Vali
    • Kukeldash madrasah (16th c.)
    • Free time for shopping at Chorsu Bazaar and souvenir shops.

    Day 2 — Tashkent – Bukhara

    • Early breakfast at the hotel.
    • Transfer to Tashkent railway station and train to Bukhara.
    • Arrival in Bukhara, meet driver and transfer to hotel.

    • Ark citadel (4th century BC)
    • Samanid mausoleum (9th–10th c.)
    • Chashma Ayub (14th c.)
    • Bolo-Hauz Mosque (early 20th c.)
    • Kumpol Bazaar
    • Nadir Divanbegi madrasah
    • Labi-Hauz complex (14th–17th c.)
    • Kalon minaret (12th c.)
    • Kalon Mosque (12th c.)
    • Miri Arab madrasah (16th c.)
    • After dinner, a short walk through the narrow streets of ancient Bukhara.

  3. 03

    Day 3 — Bukhara – Shakhrisabz – Samarkand

    • Breakfast at the hotel.
    • Transfer to Shakhrisabz (3 hours).
    • City tour:
    • Ak-Saray Palace of Amir Timur (White Palace, 1380–1404)
    • Dorus-Saodat mausoleum ensemble («Place of Power», 14th c.) — tomb of Jahangir and
    • Omar
    • Dorut-Tilovat ensemble («Blue Mosque», 14th c.) — mausoleum of Tamerlane's spiritual teacher Shamsiddin Kulol
    • Gumbazi-Seyidon mausoleum (16th c.)
    • Kok-Gumbaz Mosque (1435)
    • Hazrat-Imam Mosque (14th c.)
    • Visit to the cemetery of Polish soldiers of General Anders' army
    • Continue to Samarkand. Transfer to hotel, check-in, and time to rest.
    • Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 4 — Samarkand city tour

    • Breakfast at the hotel.
    • Samarkand overview tour:
    • Gur-Emir mausoleum (Tomb of Tamerlane, 14th–15th c.)
    • Registan Square (Ulugbek, Sher-Dor, and Tillya-Kori madrasahs)
    • Bibi-Khanym Mosque — cathedral mosque named after Amir
    • Timur's beloved wife
    • Shah-i-Zinda architectural complex (11th–15th c.)
    • Overnight at the hotel.
  5. 05

    Day 5 — Departure

    • Transfer to the station and train to Tashkent (Afrosiyob or Sharq).
    • Breakfast at the hotel.
    • Check-out and flight to your next destination.

Following the caravans of the past, you will travel the same path as traders of silk and spices. Bukhara greets you with the Kalon minaret, Shakhrisabz with the ruins of Tamerlane's palace, Samarkand with the grandeur of Registan.
