Pik Okhotnichiy 3,099 m: a route that “builds character”
Pik Okhotnichiy is 3,099 m, in the Chimgan mountain knot. Lower than Bolshoy Chimgan (3,309 m), but the card does not sell it as an easier Chimgan: the finish goes through rock and snowfields, for people “ready to overcome difficulties”. It is the only one of the four that singles out spring: snowfields and flowering valleys.
